As you swipe through these sneak peeks, can you tell that it drizzled the entire time?! ☔ Tai & Christopher's engagement session on Saturday was definitely one for the books! They were so much fun to spend time with and were naturals in front of the camera! I loved learning all about the Indian culture and attire, I've always been fascinated with the bright colors! 😍 It was a pleasure to finally meet you both and I cannot wait for your wedding next month!

If you ask just about anyone over the age of 25 wh

If you ask just about anyone over the age of 25 where they were or what they were doing on 9/11, they will be able to tell you...and not for good reasons. What happened that morning has changed the lives of so so many. Even 20 years later, members of FDNY, NYPD and other rescue teams are STILL dying from illnesses they've developed from the conditions from that day. I know this day impacted so many people across the country, but living just miles from where the planes hit the towers, I can tell you I will never forget how horrible it looked, smelled and felt that day and the days after. I'm really grateful and proud to say that 4 men in my family were NYPD heroes that day and they all made it back home. I was luckier than most but I can't say I wasn't scared. I was only 10, but I was old enough to see how that day and the weeks after effected them. The blood. The dust. The debris. The remains. The families they had to notify. The people who cried in their arms. The absolute heartbreak. People don't bounce back from months of that. I don't think I saw them for months and when I did, they were just covered in blood and debris. The exhaustion and horror in their faces...they would never be the same. And the poor families who said goodbye to a loved one for the last time as they went to work in the towers that day. Or the passengers who thought they were headed home or going on vacation...we remember you ❤ And lastly, you can't forget the military who soon after got called away to fight..some came home and some didn't. We wouldn't have our freedom if it weren't for all those who have served then, now and years before. Life is precious and can be over in an instant and while I hated 9/11 and wish it would never happen again anywhere else, I miss 9/12. The unity our country had, no matter who you were, where you were from or even who you voted for....we all just stopped and came together in a time of need. The American Flag couldn't be bought because it was sold out in every store and hung on every house. We were proud to be Americans and we promised to never forget, and I hope we never do. Here's to the fallen. I will never forget you ❤🤍💙🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
